Description
His mostly idyllic paintings, aquarelles and drawings show predominately the life of his family in and around its home in Sundborn, Sweden, that Carl Larsson received from his parents-in-law in 1888. Carl and his wife Karin are regarded as the founders of the Swedish lifestyle seen today as typical, with its principal elements of light, colour and lively functionality.
